Home sweet home!

This is the first post but my computer died in the process of posting so its a day late, but nothing short of juicy information.

We have arrived at the World Hunger Farm and this is definitely nothing like what I expected. The people here have created an environment to represent what it would look like to be living in a third world country, and boy have they done well. Even though there is electricity our house has none. This place really is a farm where the people work the land and get all their food here and at markets in town. They have everything set up to minimize waste and to teach us how others across the world are living. I never knew so many people lived in hunger, especially here in Texas.

I am eager to see what tomorrow holds in store for us and what we will be learning.

Tomorrow holds a day of full work for us--up at 6:3o and working all day! We will be working with our hands gardening, milking goats, and cleaning among other various jobs to be assigned in the morning. They haven't given us too much detail as to what we will encounter (so to speak) so anything is game at this point. Wish us well.
